World Dhole Day Art Contest
Kids are encouraged to create artwork featuring dholes in their natural habitat, interacting with their pack, or showcasing their unique traits

Submission Requirements
- Artwork must feature at least one dhole.
- Any traditional medium is allowed (colored pencils, markers, paints, pastels, etc.). No digital artwork.
- Paper size: 8.5” x 11” (standard) or A4.
- Each entry must include the artist’s name, age, and a brief description of their artwork (1-3 sentences)
- Special Recognition for Scientific Accuracy
Illustrations that show exceptional attention to factual details—such as correct dhole coloration, body proportions, pack behavior, and natural habitat—will receive special recognition.
These entries may be highlighted as "Best Scientific Illustration" or receive an Honorable Mention for Accuracy to encourage learning about dholes.

Judging and Fan Favorite Contest
1 winner per age group will be selected by judges based on:
The top 3 entries from each age group will be submitted for a Fan Favorite contest on social media, where the public can vote for their favorite artwork.
- Creativity – Unique interpretation of dholes and their environment.
- Accuracy – Effort in representing dhole features correctly.
- Effort & Presentation – Neatness, detail, and overall impact.

Recognition
For those under the age of 15, the top artwork from each category will be displayed on the new PupPage. For 15 and up, artwork will be displayed on our World Dhole Day page.
Winners will also be shown on our social media pages and be on our Facebook Cover!
We won't make sure we can deliver on the prizes promised, and with current shipping restrictions, we felt recognition on our sites was the best way to honor those who participate.
