Dhole Fund Photo Contest 2025
How to Enter
- Who Can Enter: Anyone! Amateur or professional photographers welcome.
- What to Submit: Any original photo of a dhole (Cuon alpinus) taken by you, in the wild, in a sanctuary, or at a zoo. The photo could have been taken at any time, but it must be your shot.
- Deadline: Submit by October 1, 2025.

Submission Requirements
- Sharp, well-lit images
- Natural dhole behaviors (play, rest, interactions, etc.)
- Unique perspectives or moments
- High-resolution files (minimum 300 dpi preferred)
- Landscaped orientation
- Watermarks that don't interfere with the subject (for example, located in the lower corners of the photo) are allowed.
- Camera Trap/Trail Camera photos are permitted

What You'll Win
- The top 12 photos will be featured in the 2026 Dhole Fund Calendar
- Featured on the Dhole Fund website and social media
- Recognition and promotion as a contributor to wildlife conservation
By entering, you're helping raise awareness and support for dhole conservation efforts in Nepal — all proceeds from calendar sales go directly to our on-the-ground programs.
Terms and Conditions
By submitting your photo(s), you agree to the following:
- Ownership: You confirm that the photo(s) submitted were taken by you, and that you retain the rights to the image(s).
- Permission to Use: By entering this contest, you grant the Dhole Fund:
- Non-exclusive, royalty-free rights to use your submitted photo(s) for promotional, fundraising, and educational purposes.
- The right to edit, crop, or otherwise modify the photo(s) as needed for calendar formatting or promotional materials.
- Non-exclusive, royalty-free rights to use your submitted photo(s) for promotional, fundraising, and educational purposes.
- Calendar Sales: You agree that your photo(s), if selected, may be used in a printed calendar sold by the Dhole Fund to raise money for dhole conservation projects. Proceeds from sales support conservation and community efforts in Nepal.
- Credit: All published photos will include photographer credit wherever feasible (e.g., in the calendar, online gallery, and social media).
- Number of Entries: Participants may submit up to 3 photos for consideration.
- Selection Process: Winners will be selected by a panel from the Dhole Fund team. Decisions are final.
